So, demonstrations and confrontations in cities from Vienna to Rotterdam and Brussels amongst others are clear indications of the increasing restiveness of many people in Europe who have seen their liberties and freedoms removed and taken into the care of politicians who dole them amount dependant on compliance. Clearly the peoples of Europe understand that a lack of moral scruple in pursuit of what is perceived to be the public good is a step down the road to a totalitarian state.
