‘The 17h century philosopher Baruch Spinoza observed ” in a free state, every man may think what he likes and say what he thinks.”
If we take Spinoza’s observations as a standard then by any measure, we in the Western world, the supposed cradle of freedom and liberty, no longer live in free states. It is up to us all to change that by word, deed and thought.
Wishing all of you a Happy Christmas, emphatically “CHRISTMAS”, not the wishy-washy offence avoiding “Happy Holidays.” If someone living in the West is offended by the culture mores and traditions of the West, feel free to leave, you will not be missed.
